“Long day at the office today. Not one dry eye. Not one  family  unaffected. All I can say to the residents at this time is to remember why you chose pediatrics. Love and care for your patients like they are you own family. Listen to their needs. Admit when you don’t have the answer. Learn from them. Listen to your gut. Listen to The kids. Kids believe. Kids just know. Let today be the day we renew our childlike faith in the power of goodness. As Gov Malloy said: Let Love ,Compassion and Courage guide your actions…”
