My little brother graduated from high school this past week. Crazy! It was fitting that the book I had thrown in my purse to read while waiting for graduation to start was Maria Shriver’s “Just Who Will You Be.” The book is based off a speech she wrote for her nephew’s high school graduation. It is a quick read, but very thought provoking. While it does make a great graduation gift, it is a perfect ounce of inspiration and self examination for anyone.
Shriver says, “I’ve learned that asking ourselves not just what we want to be, but who we want to be is important at every stage of our lives, not just when we’re starting out in the world. That’s because in a way, we’re starting out fresh in the world every single day.”
